Reflection 2

Faisal started the presentation about ADHD; he explained what it is very clearly.

Slides: They were in red and black, not very colorful. A lot of text and not a lot of pictures,
but when he inserted the picture, it was to explain something or to show us what the person looks like. He talked about how ADHD comes and some of the cures for it. He talked about his past and how he was diagnosed with ADHD and how he over-came it and what it feels like to have it. He clearly stated that it wasn't "fun" or "cool" to have it and that is was extremely tiring.

Language: he made some grammatical mistakes, but he was easily understood.

Body Language: he made eye contact with the class and he made a lot of hand gestures.
He answered the questions easily and gave good answers.

Reflection:

I, Ghaith Al-Muhairbi; started the meeting about house maids and talked about the problems that come with hiring them. The first item we discussed was that maids raise our kids improperly and commit a lot of crimes. Abdulaziz: maids don’t care about the houses they work in because they’re not theirs. Our kids grow up to have bad manners. I then began to talk about our agenda, and Abdulaziz said: treating maids in a polite way will decrease their bad attitude. Treating the maids politely is the best and easiest way to prevent most of the crimes that maids commit. Naser said: we should raise awareness in parents. Most newlyweds don’t know anything about maids, and we should do a campaign to raise awareness. Maids raise our children and are a huge part of their lives, we should be wise when picking them, and we need to take these precautions to prevent any harm to the family or anything.
